Only 15 select weekend dates available for 2018 with tours starting later this month 

Tickets will go on general sale from 8am on Thursday 3rd May at coronationstreettour.co.uk 

The Coronation Street external sets at MediaCityUK in Manchester will open to the general public later this month, bosses at Continuum Attractions have confirmed.

From Saturday 26th May, guided tours will operate every Saturday up to and including July 14, every Saturday in September, Saturday 3rd November with the final tour for 2018 on Saturday 10th November*

Working in partnership with ITV and the team at Coronation Street, access to the external sets which will include the famous cobbled street, Rosamund Street and the brand new extended Victoria Street, will open on select weekends until the end of the year. The tours will last approximately 1.5 hours and be full of filming stories and secrets and packed with picture opportunities.

Juliana Delaney, CEO of Continuum Attractions said: “It is with great pride we announce our operation of guided tours round the Coronation Street external sets at MediaCityUK from later this month. The show has such an extraordinary connection with their fans all across the world, we’re delighted some will be lucky enough to now follow in the footsteps of their favourite characters and walk down those famous cobbles.”

John Whiston, MD Continuing Drama & Head of ITV in the North added: “Turning the corner and stepping out on to the most famous TV street in the world never gets old, even after working here as long as I have. I still get such a massive thrill. To be able to now share Coronation Street with the most important people on the show – our audience – is very exciting and I hope they soak it all in and enjoy it as much as we do.”

Tickets will cost £35 (including booking fee) and will go on sale to the general public from 8am on Thursday 3rd May at coronationstreettour.co.uk.
